C J Blay Plumbing and Heating have been around for over 11 years now. A family run business, offering plumbing, heating, electrical and air conditioning services with an emphasis on safety, honesty and efficiency.
Owner, Chris Blay, has always had an interest in the mechanical and engineering side of life, previously being a motor mechanic – but also enjoying anything else that was mechanical. In 2002, Chris decided to try his hand at plumbing and heating and picked things up very quickly, becoming CORGI Registered (Now Gas Safe Registered) and established himself with some of the industry leaders as their trusted installer and service engineer for the Doncaster area.
One of the things that Chris absolutely insists on when he works is the safety aspect. Never one to cut corners, or to “overlook” things, he has always put the customer first – even if it means he has to spend more time at his own expense. This is a mantra that his customers really appreciate and value and why they always come back to Chris for any servicing, repairs or new installations.
It is this very mantra that has allowed Chris to be classed as a qualified installer and service engineer for some of the industries largest names.
As a REFCOM certified engineer, Chris is allowed to safely install, service and repair your air conditioning unit, keeping your system in tip top condition.
CJ Blay Plumbing and Heating also have CPS Certification with NAPIT and are Part P and 17th edition qualified. NAPIT Electricians are members of a Full Scope Level A Domestic Electricians scheme, allowing them to Self Certify all the work they carry out which falls under building regulations. Since the 2005 building regulations have been in place, it is a legal requirement that certain works are notified to Local Authority Building Control. As a competent tradesperson we have the knowledge and skills, acquired through training, qualification and experience to self-certify your work to building control and provide you with a building regulations compliance Certificate.
When Chris isn’t working, he likes to spend as much of his spare time as possible with his family, whether it is walking, cycling, scuba diving, sight seeing or tinkering with his sons car.
